About Us
We're more than a service provider — we're your partners
Safe Hands NT was built on a simple belief: every person with a disability deserves support that truly sees them — their strengths, their goals, and their right to live life on their own terms.
How we began
Our story
Safe Hands NT was founded right here in the Northern Territory, by people who understood firsthand how hard it can be to find disability support that feels genuinely human. We saw a gap — not just in services, but in the way those services were delivered.
We started with a commitment to do things differently. To hire support workers who lead with empathy. To build relationships before routines. To listen more than we speak. That commitment hasn't changed — it's at the heart of everything we do.
Today, Safe Hands NT supports NDIS participants across the Territory, helping people access their communities, build independence, and live the lives they choose.
Our mission
"To empower people with disabilities to live full, connected, and self-determined lives — supported by a team that genuinely cares."
Respect
We honour every person's dignity, choices, and individuality — always.
Connection
We build real relationships, not just service arrangements. People are at the centre of everything.
Empowerment
We support people to grow, achieve, and lead — not to depend on us more than they need to.
Accountability
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality, safety, and honesty in everything we do.
Our people
